The XPS M1710 is powered by Intel Core Duo processors, NVIDIA 512 MB GeForce Go 7900 GTX graphics technology, with a 120GB hard disk and up to 4GB of memory. Dell says the notebook allows you to play 3D games at high settings while simultaneously performing intensive tasks such as downloading music or running a virus scan, without any compromise on performance.
Great is the 17" widescreen display which supports an ultra-high resolution of 1920x1200 and features TrueLifeTM technology. Dell also increased the brightness and made it 30% brighter than the previous generation XPS gaming notebook.
I really like the design though - it is an eyecatcher! Well you can even customize your notebook and get an illuminated XPS touchpad and three independently user-configurable lighting areas with exclusive 16-colour XPS accent lighting.
