Visitors to new york City have been buying the "I love NY" t-shirt since 1977 during the campaign to revitalize the city. It's a staple for tourists and die-hard New York lovers.



I myself have spent a fortune buying that shirt and sending it to friends, even those who have never been to New York, as if egging them to love New York.



So, let's be true to ourselves. This time, I will be buying this instead to send to my friends who have neber been to New York. It's on sale currently at Threadless for $10.
