It's not always easy trying to figure out what to fix -whether it's for you, your family or company! Sometimes you might see something in a magazine or newspaper that spurs your interest but figuring out how to replicate that food or create a food dish that resembles what you saw might be a bit harder (and trickier) than you thought!

So what's a girl- or a guy- to do? Well there is an easier way than some of those food shows on TV - and if you forgot to record it or don't understand all the terms in it, it's hard to get them to explain it. Easy Cooking coming up at www.ImCooked.com .

This nifty website is fairly new but it's definitely innovative as they show you how to prepare food on video- which makes taking a laptop into the kitchen a good idea and gives new meaning to the words "rewind and repeat". The ImCooked.com presents all kinds of different food things- from red beans and rice to African cuisine like Butter Chicken Masala and Chicken Bhruna. It's even a very educational website when they show - graphic content alert!- how to skin a rabbit. Ok.. you don't have to watch that one and I didn't. The trick is that you can learn some very basic techniques and you can learn how to cook food that is interesting, tasty and give it your own presentation.

Not only can this teach you cooking, some of the different videos feature a really amusing and fun way of cooking. Check out AVERAGE BETTY who has a funny videolinks on Chinese Chicken New Year.

One of my favorites is Betty #16: Chinese Chicken New Year

The recipes aren't all ethnic - there's how to grill a steak for those who just can't seem to get it right and don't want to call the fire department (*or take out) for a piece of grilled meat. You don't have to know how to cook to watch this series. It's a fun - and educational- series of videos on its own for those who want to learn or just watch someone do it.

Definitely check out this site! It's fun, informative and definitely something outside the box- but inside the kitchen!!
