Having just finished six weeks on the road with THE KIN and the Pat McGee Band, Josh Kelley and gang are rolling into the East Coast this week with more dates to come. Recently having played the west coast - truly a very short time *(boo hiss.. we need more time guys!!)

While this podcast is a bit from an interview done earlier in the year, it holds its own because I got Josh to talk about his career as a singer, producer, how he got started and about life in general. As you will hear, there's a lot going on with Josh Kelley and he's an extremely talented and ambitious musician juggling lots of plates. (go Josh! go Josh!!)


I nterviewed aka PODCASTED Josh Kelley before (see this is a LINK to that blog). Check it out if you haven't seen/heard it before. Be forewarned!! It's about 27 minutes long.. and so I made this a much shorter podcast segment .

What is new here is an edited version of the interview that I talked about above and it's a bit choppy because this was a L O N G conversation and there were other people in the room (Yo Keaton, Bethany, Milo and Alexa) that couldn't be easily heard. To make this easier to upload, easier for you to listen to, I cut it down to about 10 minutes.

One of Josh's newest songs - recently written on the tour and he has recorded for an upcoming CD release in early 2008. This song is called Masterpiece. I heard a very funny story from Keaton Simon about how this was written. I am going to have to ask Josh when I see him at the Troubadour about that story!
