Ananda Khalsa may not be a huge name-- but her jewelry combines the fine art work of Asian inspired original paintings on paper set behind hand ground glass in sterling and fine silver accented with high karat gold . Each piece is slightly different thus an original piece of art work-- think one of a kind and you aren't far off the mark.
Over the centuries, various cultures around the globes have used animal and plant forms to illustrate and symbolize important events or facets of their lives. Khalsa's work is particularly influenced by Asian art -- Indian, Chinese and Japanese imagery is elicited and reflected in these minature drawings and paintings.
The pieces shown here feature the Teardrop Lotuses with Pink Tourmalines
Necklace is presented on a 15 1/2 in. chain with sterling dots, and is accented with 3 pink tourmaline briolettes. Painting is approx. 3/4 inch tall. $210
Earrings -- these earrings hang approx. 1 inch, and are accented with pink tourmaline rondelles. $208.00
Ring-- The painting is approx. 2/3 inches tall. Available in sizes 5-10. $170.00
Truly a work of exquisitely fine art, it's something that could become an heirloom and handed down over the generations. Each one has the Ananda Khalsa hallmark on the reverse side.
