Ever wish you could whip out that camera in a flash or not fumble with a case for the camcorder? Now your wish may have just come true with the GoPro HERO 3 wrist camera and video cam all in one. This baby pretty much does everything on the fly and then some- from still photos to videos and they look pretty good and the sound capture is pretty amazing for "on the go" sports action videos they have ton the website www.goprocamera.com.
The Digital HERO # is a shockproof and waterproof camera with patented sports camera technology in a polycarbonate
housing that will survive just about anything. Give me a break and please don't ask me to test out the 20 foot surf or 20 foot drops- both of which I won't do. (Surf has to be smaller and I will do the drop if you can provide me one of those airbag mattresses or a REALLY cute guy to catch me. I don't weigh much so it's not like I am going to crush anyone).
This 3 Mega-Pixel sensor provides high res photos and tv res video in a very smooth 30 frames per second complete with sound! Tricked out with a neoprene strap and a super lightweight camera at 4.7 oz, it makes it easy to use and so flashy someone's bound to comment. You can use it over sleeves and gloves!
It's has 16 MB of onboard memory and can take a 2GB SD flash card for additional storage A 2 GB card holds 2500 photos and up to 54 minutes of continuous video. (buy lots. You need them. Trust me- for video you need MORE than 1 x 2 GB SD flash card particularly if you are going on vacation for multiple days!!)
