If you aren't aware of what's cooking on this situation, here's some back story here on the LA Story ( and an update post hits today at LA STORY ) and you can read the posts below about bloggers being harassed via phone and letter by attorneys for Steve & Barry over the publishing of PUBLICALLY POSTED photos of the sarah Jessica Parker "not so fashionable savvy" line that Steve & Barry are launching 6/4.
What's really interesting about this is that the attorneys are threatening bloggers -- some of whom write multiple blogs and some who work in print as well-- who have a powerful reach out there to fashionistas everywhere.

I cant even SHOW you photos of the line to comment on them. Nuff said about the line (since I have a look book and the entire press kit)-- it's the treatment of the online writers/bloggers that should have people more concerned. Who was it that said that even "bad press is good press" because the name gets mentioned.

Threatening bloggers with lawsuits over their use of photos that were publically available on the web for well over 30 days (now it's a couple of months) is ludicrous. What's worse is turning round and sending same journalists/writers/bloggers press kits and asking them to cover the line.

Makes you wonder just "who's on first" when it comes to celebrity style, fashion and how to handle the media-- of which bloggers are part of that huge diverse group of media entities
