Looking back at the times I had as a teen, college kid and even early 20's, I often wondered why I- and my friends- had to learn the hard way the different ways of enjoying life - a la the party lifestyle. While this might not apply to most people, it will for that teen or college student in your house and maybe if you are an overgrown kid, maybe this might be your wake-up call.
The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down
Written by Paul Sapiano, this is truly an outrageous over the top story on the "how to's" in the seamier side of life as shown against a Hollywood, CA. backdrop. It's about the questions that everyone asks on how to have a fun nightlife but should be able to make the moves a lot slicker and give "someone" a bit of knowledge on how to manipulate the scene to your own advantage. The people in the movie (based on the reviews I read) are in their 20's so take this as a wild and crazy weekend (sort of Weekend at Bernies meets "American Pie" only wilder)
(Note that I am not endorsing this behavior)
This movie features a "how to " guide with a nasty comedy mixed with a documentary feel that offers a guide to enjoy a truly insane party lifestyle. The film follows a group of Hollywood party-goers on their Escapade as they travel from home to bar to party to after-party seeking the ultimate party experience. Through their adventure, viewers will learn truly insightful - and at times politically incorrect - lessons in nightlife etiquette, which will leave you feeling a bit dirty for enjoying it so much.
Telling you anything more about the movie will spoil it. However if drinking, drugs, sneaking into clubs, sex, put ons and put downs gross you out, don't see this film. If you don't mind insane wackiness and weird humor with a real truth to it, then buy it!
