The Sleeping Bird - Light ?!
Seriously as I have seen that light, I could not hold myself anymore. *ROFL*

Well the friendly description says:

Is it a sleeping bird? Is it a light for your bedside table? It's both!

Ok ok, I have to admit this Sleeping Light IS cool. Either if it is a sleeping or a not very lively bird it is fine with me.
The idea is really amusing and the design is exquisite. Andi Kovel designed this piece in 2004 and it is handmade by Esque., Portland, OR.
The material is Recycled glass stock; processed in an electric furnace that's powered by wind energy!

Oh well so no need to worry that the bird possibly died because of pollution or other negative influences caused by a human being ;-)

The Bird Pillow in brown matches the light perfectly. Designed by Shelly Klein and manufactured in other words handmade by K Studio, Grand Rapids, MI.

materials:
Shell of 100% hemp; filling of natural Feathers (90%) and down (10%)

Absolutely nice design and the natural feather filling gains points!

The longer I surf through the catalog the more I am impressed with the absolutely exquisite design choices in this shop. The children puzzle and cuddling animals are adorable. The furniture and houseware are elegant and tasteful but do have their price like expected.

Anyways COOL things - to order at Branch or visit the
Shop in San Francisco!
