The Thunderbird Hotel

At first, The Thunderbird looks like it would be located in Las Vegas or a dive-y part of downtown L.A., but that's quite far from the expected: it's actually located in Marfa, West Texas, amidst desert scrub and wht has been called some of the most hauntingly beautiful desert terrain. This is no seedy motor home by any means, incorporating Jamey Garza's custom-made furniture with pieces of Peruvian origin. Combine that with blown-glass lampslinks, recessed lighting, and little cool details scattered about the property, and you've got a hit. Get to West Texas!
