Ugly Friends

The Whitney Museum of American Art's alternately vaunted and vilified Biennial started beginning March 2. The Biennial is lasting until May 28th and this exhibition always makes a splash. This year's iteration-which is slated to include rock performances, political provocations, fictional personae, and a fake trailer for a re-make of '70s soft-porn "classic" Caligula-should be no exception.

If you should attend either an event at the Biennial or visit the Whitney Museum of American Art make a stop at the museum store. Pick up one of these adorable ugly dolls.
David Horvath, illustrator, and Sun-Min Kim, designer, created the Ugly Dolls during letter-writing sessions to each other when they were living in separate countries. Each soft and cuddly character has an individual story and personality, portrayed by the captivating expressions on their faces.
My friend's kid has Jeero, the green one and loves it! Which one would you pick?
