At the Silver Spoons Emmy event, there were many cool new products. One of the most interesting to me was the Vinturi Aerator for wines. Typically this would be used on red wines but could be used on heavier chardonnays as well, this slim, sleek device is like a funnel and it aerates and brightens the flavor of the wine. By exposing it to air, the different flavors bloom and suddenly the wine isn't as harsh as it normally would seem to be.
