This project is still in design stage, but it has already became my dream destination.

Designed by Atkin's Architecture Group, this hotel concept recently won an international design competition. Set in a quarry mine in Songjiang China, the 400 bed resort hotel is uniquely constructed and its design is in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. Public areas include underwater guest rooms and underwater cafes and restaurant.

The Cool Hunter explain: "The lowest level runs with the aquatic theme by housing a luxurious swimming pool and an extreme sports center for activities such as rock climbing and bungee jumping, which will be cantilevered over the quarry and accessed by special lifts from the water."

I better start saving now, for the more expensive, luxurious and cool vacation I'll ever have! ;)
