Swing By Tory Burch!

If you're in NYC, I would love to see you at an event that I am hosting! I am a huge fan of Tory Burch - I love her designs, her sensibility and her commitment to philanthropy as well. When I find someone like this, it becomes obvious that we have to collaborate. This Thurs, readers of my site, Kitten Lounge have the opportunity to hang out with me, your friends and more at the Tory Burch store in NoLita! What a fun way to mingle and to shop (there is a 20% discount) while we get our spring wardrobes ready! I love when there is something fun to do and if my friends will be there then it's even a better reason to come out and have a great time. Think about the last minute items that you will need for this season and get them with us!

Check Out Rebecca Ward

Check Out Rebecca Ward

If you haven't heard of Gaffers Tape, you've probably seen it. This tape has a bit of a texture to it and is something that you would use when it comes to painting your home. It insures that you paint within the lines. This week, I attended the installation work of Rebecca Ward, an artist that is known for using this tape as a portion of her work! Kate Spade had commissioned her work for their store in Tokyo and last week, she presented her new work at their Broome St store as well! Guests at the party were welcomed with gaffers tape throughout the store and the vaulted ceilings. Pink and yellow were throughout the store which only highlighted many of the fab items that are a part of Kate Spade's current collection. Find out more about the artist and more of this event via Kitten Lounge's full post about opening night!

Cool Stress Relieving Gadgets That Work

Cool Stress Relieving Gadgets That Work

Stress is everywhere and bothers pretty much everyone in today's fast paced and unpredictable world.

Some people control their stress by either heavy activity, such as rock climbing, and others sit quietly with closed eyes and meditate.

Of course there's always the pharmaceutical treatments, both prescribed, and over the counter, as well as various supplements and teas.

The list of cures for stress could fill volumes, and some work, for some people.

But we're in the electronics age, the digital age, and now we look to modern day remedies such as these electronic stress controllers.

Fitness Gadgets Don’t Have To Be Complex

Fitness Gadgets Don’t Have To Be Complex
I love gadgets and grown up toys and in the past the more complex they were the more I liked them.

Sometimes though, I wish these gadgets weren't quite as, "feature rich," because I end up spending more time than is fun on a ""learning curve."

This is especially true of small, sometimes tiny, electronic gadgets. The problem is more a matter of manipulating hard to use controls rather than learning how to operate the thing.

Digital watches can present these problems and caused an avid health and fitness fan to compare the benefits of basic versus complex fitness watches .

Here's a link to a review of many of today's most popular fitness and sports watches.

Anime x Tech

Anime x Tech

Last night, Kitten Lounge attended the Curve NY x Pucca event!

Pucca is an anime character out of Korea that embodies love and even the name is a southern dialect for Kisses! I had the opportunity to see various girls dressed as Pucca and the store was wrapped in love literally with all of the bold red images and hearts! Between appearances from members of Gossip Girls, execs from Warner Brothers and the creator of Pucca herself, it was a great night that also included DJ's, friends and great nibbles/bevies.

As I looked through my goodie bag last night, I saw that I has a Memory Stick (which I can never have enough of them). This one caught my eye as the stick was a mini Pucca with a button on her back. When pressed, the stick is released and when you're downloading information, her cheeks glow red! This is definitely one of the cutest tech items that I have come across and of course I had to share it with you. Not only will it be hard to lose this stick in your bag, but it's a great conversation starter when you're out and about using it!
