This dog, named Dancer, only reaches four inches in height, but what really strikes me is his incredible little bark. This dog, which recently became inducted as the smallest in the world, was rescued as a puppy and hand-fed until he finally opened his eyes after four weeks. Surprisingly, this little dog who barely seems real has also recently been granted "Therapy Dog" status and cheers people up in hospitals and care centers.

Watch the video here, with sound, to catch those tiny little bark-squeaks.

"Cool" Person: Cory Kennedy Title: "Cool" Person: Cory Kennedy

I may not be a true fan of Cory Kennedy, but what is cool is how this teen managed to make one lucky internship the start of a successful career that has already spanned print, international borders, and lots of gossip sites. Known for her mussed hair and clothes, Kennedy has been chosen as a style icon without doing much besides seeming "cool" to a lot of people. Do you see the appeal? Regardless, that's some stellar self-marketing, and that's cool.

The photo might not be anything special, but the project certainly is: this is an "Instructibles" project that helps you design your own desk on the cheap. This desk might be made out of (empty) cardboard containers, but it still supports the weight of a computer monitor, laptop, printer, and, as the ingenious creator Valche pointed out, it also supports "legs when I'm tired."

It's definitely a thought when your boss refuses that new, bigger desk. All you need to do is raid that supply closet!

Obsessed with animals? Looking for a pick-me-up? This cat has been called a modern-day Garfield and currently weighs in at 35 pounds. And yes, he really does look like he should have cartoon sidekick John at his side. Health implications aside, this cat is fascinating to look at and is almost too heavy for its owner to pick up. Someone's going to be on a diet ASAP.

Two MIT grads have pulled me into their science-y accessories and generally gorgeous design elements! Inspired by things such as plant cells and radiolarians, these cute accessories pull fantastic elements from the unexpected. You can find pieces in silicone rubber, as shown, as well as stainless steel. Now that's inspiration!
